Dear friends,

We are happy to invite you to our upcoming retreat jointly organized by Poh Ern Shih and Joyful Garden Sangha in Singapore.   This time, we are fortunate to have Ven. Thich Chan Phap An, Head of the European Institute of Applied Buddhism, Germany (EIAB), led the retreat, together with Ven. Thich Chan Phap Kham (from Plum Village Hong Kong), Ven. Bhikhuni Thich Nu Chan Linh Nghiem (from Plum Village Thailand) and Ven. Bhikhuni Thich Nu Chan Khoi Nghiem (from EIAB) .

Living in a fast-paced society like ours, we tend to forget many wonderful things that are available in the present moment, in and around us, such as a healthy heart, a blooming flower, or the innocent smile of a child. The retreat is a chance for us to slow down. Together we will practice breathing, sitting, and walking mindfully in order to get in touch with the present moment and its many wonders: A leisure walk, a playful song of the birds, or a cup of tea with our friends can be great source of joy and happiness that we can cultivate in our daily lives...
